Processing "Eloquent Rage"

  • The Open Table KC 318 East 55th Street Kansas City, MO, 64113 United States (map)

During this series we hope to normalize dialoguing with each other about emotions. Sadness/grief, anger/rage and joy. No emotion is off limits.

However, our emotions are also experienced in our bodies. We’ll engage in embodied practices that will help us experience healthy ways to process our emotions.

On October 23 Abhishek Dutt and Garrett Brown will lead us through exercises that will help us process through our anger. Offering insights based on the book Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpower by Brittney Cooper. We will be having a taco bar for dinner. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Masks are recommended to be worn when not actively eating or drinking.
