THE POWER OF THE POOR

  • The Open Table KC 318 East 55th Street Kansas City, MO, 64113 United States (map)

Our theology, just like people, have been colonized. The colonizers have distorted our history and shaped God in their own image. We are intentionally re-introducing ourselves to the God who inhabited our world in protest to corrupt systems to bring freedom to those who are still being made poor. Join us on October 24th at 6pm as Cornell Ellis continues the conversation around one of the tenets of liberation theology; God’s preferential for the poor. We ask all participants to bring their own dinner, but we will have some sack dinners prepared just in case.
