THE ETHIC OF WAR AND PEACE

  • The Open Table KC 318 E 55th St Kansas City United States (map)

Throughout history, Christianity has been used both to justify and resist countless acts of violence and widespread war. How can the Christian wisdom tradition be a conversation partner for the questions we have today about violence and nonviolence? Join us as Rev. Tyler Heston explores four stories about Jesus from the Gospels and how they’ve inspired people to think about violence, nonviolence, and faithful resistance.

We will have a baked potato bar for dinner. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share.Masks are recommended to be worn when not actively eating or drinking.
