Dr. King Assassination Commemoration
Apr 4, 2017 at 7:00 PM
Organizer: Nick Pickrell

In our period of increasing nativism, racism, and attempts to divide America's working people, we want to remember Dr. King's vision of a "beloved community." We will celebrate the torch that Stand Up KC workers and allies have carried for nearly four years from striking sanitation workers -- who were on strike for a union and racial and economic equality when Dr. King was taken from us all in Memphis in 1968.

Join us for a free community screening of the documentary At River I Stand on April 4th at the Gem Theater at 7pm. To reserve a ticket RSVP with name, email, and phone for each person at info@standupkc.org.
